This Acceptable Use Policy explains prohibited uses of the Ospery platform and the standards users and partners must follow across the website, apps, messaging, QR features, referral activity, and AI tools.

1. Purpose of this policy

This policy exists to keep Ospery safe and trustworthy for buyers, sellers, businesses, partners, and the broader local ecosystems that use the platform.

2. Illegal activities

Users and partners may not use Ospery to promote, sell, distribute, or facilitate illegal goods or services, including illegal drugs, counterfeit goods, stolen property, unlawful weapons, illegal gambling services, human trafficking, or exploitation.

3. Fraud and deception

Prohibited conduct includes impersonating another person or business, selling goods that do not exist, misleading product descriptions, misrepresenting payment or payout flows, using stolen credentials, or making false claims about being authorized to act on behalf of Ospery.

4. Abuse of messaging and outreach

You must not use Ospery messaging, support channels, or partner outreach to send spam, run scams, harass others, distribute malicious links, or pressure users with misleading or abusive communications.

5. Abuse of the refund system

Users must not make false refund claims, try to obtain goods or services without payment, coordinate chargeback abuse, or encourage refund fraud to manipulate partner or platform commissions.

Users must not attempt to exploit the transaction protection period or interfere with payout eligibility through coordinated refund or dispute manipulation.

6. Platform manipulation

It is prohibited to create fake accounts, post fake ratings or reviews, fabricate transactions, inflate order volume, or bypass platform safeguards designed to protect attribution, payout eligibility, transaction integrity, or trust signals.

7. Prohibited content

You may not upload, distribute, or promote content that is illegal, hateful, discriminatory, sexually exploitative, violent, threatening, misleading, or fraudulent.

8. Misuse of QR commerce

You may not generate QR codes for fraudulent payments, distribute misleading payment QR codes, or redirect buyers to unrelated, hidden, or unlawful products or services.

9. Abuse of AI features

Users may not use Ospery AI tools to generate spam, commit fraud, bypass safeguards, extract protected data, or create harmful or illegal content.

10. Partner program misconduct

Partners must not misrepresent Ospery, promise guaranteed approval, promise guaranteed earnings, use unauthorized sub-affiliate schemes, claim unassigned territories, falsify local presence, or create misleading partnership offers.

Partners are expected to act as responsible regional operators, not as spam affiliates or unregulated financial agents.

11. Territory and referral abuse

Prohibited conduct includes self-referrals, fake signups, referral reassignment attempts, duplicate partner applications, cross-border attribution abuse, and efforts to earn revenue outside an assigned country or beyond the applicable country partner limit.

12. Data, privacy, and confidentiality misuse

You may not scrape large volumes of data, export personal information without authorization, share partner application data, sell user information, or use Ospery account, referral, or support data for unrelated marketing or unlawful activity.

13. Security violations

Prohibited conduct includes attempting to hack the platform, exploit vulnerabilities, automate abusive requests, interfere with infrastructure, or gain unauthorized access to accounts, territories, or payout data.

13A. Payment system misuse

Users and partners may not misuse payment provider systems, attempt to bypass payout controls, interfere with transaction flows, or exploit settlement processes for unauthorized financial gain.

14. Enforcement

Violations may result in content removal, warnings, attribution removal, territory withdrawal, temporary suspension, permanent account termination, commission cancellation or reversal, and reporting to relevant authorities where appropriate.

You may report fraudulent listings, abusive messages, illegal goods, referral abuse, or partner misconduct by contacting support@ospery.app.

16. Updates to this policy

Ospery may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time.
